Another year and another great performance by Team Numidia racers at the NHRA D1 Bracket Finals. It was an especially great day for the Krause family, as Kaitlyn Krause won the high school challenge and her father Randy captured the super pro championship a few hours later. It has been a long time coming for Randy as he has been close several times at the bracket finals over the years and he finally broke through for the win. Congratulations and best of luck in Pomona! As always Team Numidia racers were all over the lanes late in competition. Mark Dennebaum was the runner-up in the Pro category, just missing a win by virtue of his -.003 reaction in the final round. In the Super Pro category 2 of the final 3 cars were team ND racers, Mark Price lost a very close race in the semis for a chance for an all ND final. Other late rounders included Robert DiMino Jr. in Super Pro and Kurt Holland in Pro. Other notable performances of the weekend included Brian Reklaitis’ runner-up finish in the super pro race of champions, Sean Steffey’s semi final finishes in both the pro race of champions and pro consolation race, Tommys Zimmerman’s semi final finish in the super pro consolation race, and Jeff Krushinskie and Soggy Dunn in the the final of the gamblers race with Jeff getting the victory. Overall Team ND finished in 2nd place in the team standings. Congratulations on another great year!
